Yes, Redone Mobile (Malaysia) supports VoWiFi for the Honor X9d (also X9c and X9b).
I used U Mobile Postpaid for six months and was generally satisfied with their service. However, the main reason I decided to switch to redONE was the coverage
As someone who loves riding motorcycles, I often travel to remote areas where signal strength varies. I noticed that in many locations, my U Mobile line would completely lose signal. My riding friends, who were using CelcomDigi, still had full coverage in those same spots.
Since redONE runs on the CelcomDigi network, it was the perfect solution. Now, I get the same extensive coverage as my friends, but at a much more affordable price—RM38 for 130GB of data.
Good News for CelcomDigi Users
If you are using a CelcomDigi line, you’ll be happy to know that VoWiFi is also fully supported on the Honor X9 series. Since redONE operates as an MVNO on the CelcomDigi network, the technical compatibility is identical. If your signal is weak indoors, simply enable the Wi-Fi Calling setting on your Honor device to enjoy crystal-clear calls via your home or office Wi-Fi.
Postpaid plan that I choose
- Plan name: postpaidPLUS38.
- 130GB data for surfing internet on phone.
- 50GB data for hotspot.
- Unlimited calls to all network.
- RM 38 per month (excluding tax)

Why VoWiFi is Important
One of the biggest challenges I face at work is staying connected. My office has great Wi-Fi, but for some reason, the mobile network signal is almost non-existent once I step inside. It’s frustrating when I’m at my desk and I see “No Service” or only one bar on my phone.
This is exactly why VoWiFi is so important for me.
Instead of worrying about missing an important call from a client or my family, VoWiFi uses the office’s internet connection to bridge the gap. Even if I’m in a “dead zone” where the mobile signal can’t reach, I can still make and receive calls clearly as long as I’m connected to the Wi-Fi. It has turned my office from a place where I was unreachable into a reliable workspace.
